My 13 and 11 year old love this show, and it's entertaining for me too! This is a review for the show, NOT the movie. I do recommend letting your children watch this. Almost every UA High (name of the school) Student is an amazing role model for young children. Even though he would always be mean and bully Izuki, Izuki didn't care. In the first season we learn Izuki (Our protagonist) had a childhood friend who was always mean, but when he got captured by a monster, although Izuki didn't have powers to save him he still tried to help. This show is also a great, by showing other to look out for one another and to not leave anyone behind. There is drug use in the shows, mostly being, villains smoking a cigarette. The are also some teen/adult jokes hidden in there. There's quite a bit of violence and blood ( Especially on season 2) There's also lots of swearing around the first two seasons. The middle of her chest area is covered but be careful with that. She creates a steel blanket think to hide in while their other friend uses election to hurt the bad guys without harming his friends. In season 2, a student named Momo (who's one of my personal favourites) is in a fight with some villains with her friend. Around season one to two you find out that one of the students, who's hero name is Grape Juice can be perverted towards all the girls. The first season introduces the characters, their quirks and personallys most of the time.

The first episode there's a hero with a purple top and skin coloured leggings, it looks like she has no pants on, but she does. I'm only to Season 3, Almost season 4 but there are some teens things in this show too. It's a kid friendly show, most of the time. This is a simple anime about students at a high school with current quirks (powers) that they train and work together. (take this last part with a grain of salt, but keep it in mind) Just keep a watchful eye on them with their 'social media' (if you allow it) then they again, should be fine. It is loaded with ship wars, drama, death threats, etc. (9-13) As amazing as the franchize is, the fandom has to sh*t on it. Keep your child away from the fandom (for the most part) espically if they are younger. But, before I end this review, I have one caution.

Nor did my mom, which is a personal shock.Īnyway, I think this movie (and the show) are amazing and if your child is comfortable with watching it, then you should just let them. My little sister, 10, was 'binge watching' the show with my dad and I (my mom ocausionally peeking in) and she had no real reaction to Mineta's pervy tendencies. (To the extent of trying to peek into their bathrooms/bathhouses mulitple times, always failing, though.) I personally would worry if you have a son in his pre-teen to early teen years, but other than that you can keep the concern to minuim with caution (of course). Now for Mineta, he's basically a super-highschool level-pervert (I couldn't resist, sorry) he constantly fetishizes the women on the show. Though, every single 'curse word' Bakugou says your child has probably heard it, and is unlikely of mimicking his behavior. Bakugou Katsuki is a very vulgar character, with excessive violence and language, it's understandable why parents may feel as if they don't want their child watching this. (notice the 'at times' part) For me personally, I can find some character aspiratons and such a bit to unrealistic, but that isn't of a major concern.įor parents, you really only have two characters to worry about your child seeing: Bakugou and Mineta. What I should start with is the characters, the characters in this show are very detailed and fleshed out really well (for the most part) and they at times can seem like real people. I can't make a whole review on the movie without sheding light on the overall show and fandom that makes up of it. I had to go onto multiple sites (some unauthorized) just to find a clean cut version of it. But, it was so so so hard to actually find a place to watch it. This movie was incredible and deserves a lot more than what I rated it.
